"Science fiction isn’t about predicting the next car, but the next traffic jams"

Isaac ASIMOV

In this blog I share remarks, observations, and thoughts that occur to me on a daily basis. The ideas are presented in a loose, stream‑of‑consciousness style—as if they’re just spilling out. Some may come across as arrogant, others perhaps brilliant, and still others painfully obvious. I’ll leave it up to you to sort through them.

I try, as much as possible, to speak only about things I actually know, to cite my sources and figures, and to verify them. When that isn’t the case I’ll point it out, but still be careful—mistakes can always happen. On my grandfather’s workshop door it was written:

“Machines don’t have brains; use yours!”

That applies here as well.

Just as with Asimov’s reflection, the goal here is to ask questions and think about them. No doctrine is claimed. No certainty is presented as absolute. Sometimes the arguments will be internally consistent, other times they’ll contradict each other. And some will simply be reflections placed side by side, mixing philosophy, science, and current events.

Happy reading…
